Basic Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts let you do things faster without using the mouse.
On Windows, shortcuts usually use the Ctrl key.
On Mac, they usually use the Command (⌘) key.
Copy: Windows: Ctrl + C | Mac: ⌘ C
Cut: Windows: Ctrl + X | Mac: ⌘ X
Paste: Windows: Ctrl + V | Mac: ⌘ V
Duplicate: Windows: Ctrl + D | Mac: ⌘ D
Opening Files and Apps
Files are stored on your computer, and apps are the programs you use.
Windows: Press Win + E to open
File Explorer, where your files are stored.
Mac: Use Finder to see your files.
Press ⌘ Space to search for apps or files quickly.
Window Controls
Every window has buttons to close it, minimize it, or make it fill the screen.
Windows:
X = Close, – = Minimize, □ = Full screen
Mac:
Red = Close, Yellow = Minimize, Green = Full screen

Screenshots take a picture of your screen.
Screen recording records a video of what you do.
